Instructions for submitting a Residential Application:

 

Please have all the following documents attached to a completed residential application. Incomplete application are not accepted and not considered under review until all documentation has been submitted. The residential application and all accompanying documents need to be in a PDF and email to contactus@circledbastroptx.org. Once received, the application will be submitted to the ACC for review.

 

Items needed to turn in with a residential application:

•    Residential Application filled out completely
•    Proof of Warranty Deed
•    Development Permit issued by Bastrop County
•    Septic Permit issued by Bastrop County
•    911 Verification Address issued by Bastrop County
•    Driveway Permit issued by Bastrop County
•    Septic Plan with a copy of your survey plat map with septic placement.
•    Copy of your survey plat map with the placement of the house drawn on it.
•    House plans to include elevations on a thumb-drive or emailed in PDF form.
•    Part III of the application is to be turned in with the form board survey when complete.
•    $250.00 Residential Application Fee

 

Comments

  • The New Home Application Packet must be completed and returned to  the Circle D Architectural Control Committee (ACC) for review.

  • You will be notified of the approval or non-approval of the application, including comments and reasons for a non-approval. You will need to resubmit the required information for approval consideration.

  • An application must be approved before trees may be removed.

  • A Form Board Survey is required once the batter boards are in place and before the concrete slab is poured. See Part 3: Form Board Survey.

(If applicable, you must complete the New Home Application - Improvement Application Part 2 if the remodel/addition will increase the square footage or the value of the existing residential building by more than 50%.)

Instructions for submitting an Improvement Application:

The first page of the improvement application needs to be filled out and a drawing of the placement of the improvement  drawn on a copy of the survey plat map. Include any pictures and types of material that will be used in the improvement. Incomplete application are not accepted and not considered under review until all documentation has been submitted.

The improvement application and all accompanying documents need to be in a PDF and email to contactus@circledbastroptx.org. Once received, the application will be submitted to the ACC for review.

Items needed to turn in with an improvement application:

  • First page only of the improvement application filled out.

  • Drawing on a copy of the property survey plat map of the location of improvement.

  • Materials to be used for improvement.

  • Any pictures that would help show the improvement  being constructed.

From the By-Laws:
SECTION 10.2: Architectural Control Committee. The Architectural Control Committee shall consist of a minimum of three (3) and a maximum of five (5) Members of the Association.  No Board members, nor spouse of Board members nor anyone living in the same house as a Board member can serve on the ACC. The members of the committee shall elect a Chairman and a Secretary among themselves, and the committee will maintain minutes of all meetings. The Chairman will present a written report and copy of the minutes to the Association Board of Directors at each monthly Board Meeting. Any actions of the Architectural Control Committee can be appealed to the Board for final decisions. For any compliance issues concerning home applications or improvement applications, the ACC must follow the Compliance Procedures and Enforcement Policy.
